Personally I like the church being loud...especially when I am at the alter praying or repenting and praying through again...I pray outloud and I dont always want others to hear what I am praying about, so the loud instruments helps me pray. I can pray outloud quietly, but sometimes in intense prayer, it's not always easy to pray quietly.
