Question: Does your assembly pledge allegiance to the USA flag and the Christian flag during worship service? Why or why not?

Answer: We absolutely do not. Our church is super-national. Sure, we are mostly all citizens of the good ole USA, but as a church we are more importantly 'citizens of heaven' (Philippians 3:20). We therefore pledge our allegiance, not to our nation, but to our Savior, Jesus Christ. Please don't misconstrue this to mean that we are in any way opposed to our nation. We believe America is the best nation on the face of the earth. We simply do not believe that the meetings of our assembly are for the purpose of expressing our allegiance to our national flag or the so-called Christian flag. On the other hand, we have no issue with those who choose to do so.
