Question: What is your view on inter-racial marriages? Does the Bible speak against it?

Answer: We are not aware of any verse of Scripture that speaks against inter-racial marriage. Our view is that marriage is difficult in this day and age and adding the inter-racial component may only make it more difficult. We therefore suggest that any couple contemplating such a marriage consider carefully the added burdens and stresses that may come their way. Also, consider the difficulties the children of such a marriage may have. These are cultural and practical considerations and have nothing to do with what the Bible may allow or forbid.
