Question: My questions/input is, I didn't really get into the writing of Marcus of Orelius but I did note that he wrote about praying to himself and refering to three parts of himself and that he mentioned God being three (I beleive this is where the trinity or the idea of the trinity was started). My question was, would Revelations 22:18-19 apply at this point, 'For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the...' God did not insturct nor give Marcus of Orelius permission to include the trinity nor did he give permission to Council of Nicea to create it. Would this be a useable response to/or for countering trinitarian belief? Does that help anyone? I want to know, thank you.

Answer: Thank you for your input. We do not know much about Marcus but we do know that it is dangerous to tamper with God's Word.
