Question: Greetings in Jesus' Name! We started a youth home group (i.e. teenagers) in the local church body. Do you have any suggestions or pointers? Thank you & God Bless you! Brother Burdick

Answer: Our suggestion is to keep this group serious and authentic. Teenagers are hungry for something real. Don't succumb to the myth that it has to be fun or teens won't be interested. This has not been our experience. There are plenty of opportunities for kids to have fun. The church is a place to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. This is not to say that the meetings cannot be enjoyable and have elements that are fun. It is only to stress that most young people are looking for what is real, not just what feels good.
