How do I get the right ministry covering?	Submitted: 3/4/2006 Post a comment or ask a follow-up question

Question:	I've been called to ministry, and I've been in desert-like process. Also I was deserted by my spiritual father. But even when I'm about to launch my own ministry I do think covering is essential. If it is not, please correct my point of view by the Word.

Answer:	We believe that everyone should be part of a local assembly with biblical leadership which can watch over and give direction. In the New Testament there is both life and ministry. Life pertains to our relationships within the body of Christ and ministry pertains to our labors of love. We should never attempt to do the ministry apart from the relationships.
