In ancient times, an armorbearer was a man who accompanied a king or general or other high official and helped him with his armor. Spiritually, it would be someone who stands along side a brother or sister in the Lord as a supporter. We are all told to put on the armor of God, but sometimes we need others who care about us to help us protect ourselves and do the right thing.
