Is America mystery Babylon?

Question: I was wondering what your thoughts were on the USA being mentioned in the Bible. Many people say that America simply doesn't exist in Bible prophecy, but if you read Isaiah 47, Jeremiah 50-51, and Revelation 17-18, America fits the description of mystery Babylon almost to a T. If America is mystery Babylon, do you think Christians should physically leave America as it mentions in Revelation 18:4? If not, what would be your justification for staying?
Answer: Our understanding is that mystery Babylon is not a nation but an international political-economic system--something that larger than any single nation. When the Lord calls His people to come out of her (Revelation 18:4), he is not telling them to move out of their nation but to live as a separated people, holy unto the the Lord. We are 'in' the world, but we are not to be 'of' the world. Our citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20).
