Question: Do you feel the days of the apostles is past? I often hear people introduced as pastor, evangelist, preacher, bishop ects. If we feel the days of miracles has not passed (and I certainly don't), then why do we not hear about someone being introduced as an apostle to the Lord Jesus Christ today. Not to say you have to be an apostle to have any of the gifts operating in the body of the church. But it does say some are given as apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. We know many of these offices work hand in hand together. We put titles on many things. I was just curious why not the title apostle when we are in the apostolic faith. I love this site. May the Lord Jesus keep blessing you! PRAISE THE LORD!

Answer: The days of apostles are certainly not over and will not be until Jesus Christ returns to earth. We are not especially concerned about whether the term 'apostle' is used as a title; we simply want the work of apostles to be clearly understood and appreciated. The world needs the ministry of apostles.
