If a person has not learned to function well in life, that will not instantly change just because he or she is born again. When a person experiences the salvation of Jesus Christ, he receives everything he needs to become different, but he must cooperate with the Lord and allow the Lord to transform him. This always takes time. It is a growth process. It is the will of God that everyone He saves grow up into Him in all things (Ephesians 4:15). Sadly, not everyone arrives at that destination.
