Question:	Why do you speak in tongues? I have been taught the wrongness of this and was wondering why you do this.

Answer:	Speaking in tongues is the initial sign that a person has received the gift of the Holy Spirit. This will be obvious to you if you read through the book of Acts. Please also read our article called 'Speaking in Tongues in the Church,' which can be found on Shelf 1 of the Apostolic Free Library on this website.
