Question:	In Matthew 27:52 says that the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose (to awake) and came out of the graves after his resurrection. Why did they stay in the open graves for 3 days? Thanks Pat

Answer:	We have no explanation for this. It is one of those mysterious occurances that the Bible reports but does not explain. But as Mark Twain once said, 'It is not the things in the Bible I don't understand that concern me; it's the things I do understand.'
