Question:	I have been taught this and have heard that Satan cannot hear what you're praying when you pray in tongues? Is there scriptural support directly, or through logical inference?

Answer:	We do not know of any scriptural basis for this teaching. On the other hand, we do know that the Bible says, 'For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries' (1 Corinthians 14:2). This passage tells us specifically that God hears us and understands, but it doesn't deal with the devil.
