Question: With the LORD desiring to present to HIMSELF a 'glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing', does this mean that should the church fall short of the glorious church the LORD is wanting to present to HIMSELF, HIS Coming will be held off until the church gets to where it needs to be? Is the glorious church here now or is it in the making?

Answer: 'God has appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness'(Acts 17:31). 'He who is coming will come and will not tarry' (Hebrews 10:37). The glorious church is currently in the making and will be completed right on schedule. Keep in mind that Jesus is the builder of the church (Matthew 16:18). And whatever He undertakes to do, He does. And He does it in exactly the way He planned and in precise accord with His time-table. There is nothing we can do to delay the coming of the Lord. All we can do is fail to be ready when He comes. But whether we are ready or not, the glorious church will be ready as a bride adorned for here husband.
