Question: Who are the 24 Elders in the Book of Revelation: are the men? Someone told me that they are 'glorified men' but I told them that I could not say that becasue I don't have sufficient biblical proofs to back that up. I said, in my view there seems from, what Jesus said in John 3:13 that no man has acended to heaven except for him and that when John saw these elders he was seeing what was in heaven presently not future, he was not yet shown the future when he first saw them. I also said that I don't believe anyone who has died has yet gone to heaven but are all in the grave awaiting judgement, I could be wrong but please correct me if I am wrong but I don't believe that these elders are men but angelic beings just as I don't believe that the angels of the seven churches are men either but angels.

Answer: We agree that the angels of the churches are angels (which ought to be obvious to anyone). We do not know how to identify the 24 elders. It is a great curiosity. Perhaps some other reader can offer a good analysis.
