Question: What is the difference between a cult and the apostolic faith? I have been told more than once that the church I attend is a cult. I responded by stating that I have free will and in a cult you have no free will. I also stated that we practice truth not religion. How would you have responded?

Answer: People in cults have a free-will (everyone does). It's just that they have submitted their will completely to a human leader in much the same way we are supposed to submit our will to God. Usually apostolic churches are accused of being a cult for one of two reasons: 1) Because we deny the doctrine of the trinity, or 2) Because people can't believe that anyone would freely choose to live the way we do. They figure someone must be controling us. We think you answers were good.
