Question: The time that the Antichrist comes to govern constitutes only the conclusion of the great tribulation. The great tribulation began already on the apostles' time. The opposition and the persecution that the assembly in Jerusalem met, were the beginning to the great tribulation, and it has been going on since then. It is a well known historical fact that the assembly of God has gone throughout a terrible tribulation. Satan and his churches have persecuted, tortured and murdered many millions of Christians. And still more people have the churches and the denominations deluded to hell through false doctrines. Can a tribulation become worse? By the church's deeds we shall know the church. A good tree cannot bear such an evil fruit. Matt. 7:16-20. In spite of the churches' persecutions and mass killings on Christians, yet people believe that the churches are from God.

Answer: Thank you for your comment. Just before He went to the corss, Jesus told His disiples, 'In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world' (John 16:33). This has certainly come to pass as you have said. But Jesus also told them, 'For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be' (Matthew 24:21). This indicates a level of tribulation unique in human history. Jesus called it literally mega-tribulation. We do not believe God's people have entered this specific period yet, but that it looms large on the horizon like a treatening black storm cloud.
