Question: The Shema remains one of my favorite verses as it so effectively refutes trinitarianism. Many diminish the Shema's prominence as 'Jewish,' saying that they are Christians not Jews. Unfortunately, most are blind to the fact that the Christian faith is an extension and fulfulment of Patriarchal Judaism. Christ came not to destroy the law, but to fulful the law. The Old Testament prophets and teachers firmly declare that the one true God is one, not three. The Shema remains a pillar of the truth in the Word of God, whether anyone accepts it or not.

Answer: Thank you for your comment. We agree. The Shema is foundational to the Christian faith (see Mark 12:28-32).
