Question: When many people see Tribulations, they see helicopters, a Russian army on horseback, and satanic computer chips, but isn't this interpretation lacking spiritually. In a Post-Tribulation Rapture reality, the abomination of desolation will occur (Matthew 24:15), in which a portion of the population will be unable to receive the Spirit. Could the Abomination of Desolation be the true Mark of the Beast? God talks about the Saints bearing his seal (Revelations 7:3) on our foreheads. Does he mean a tattoo or a computer chip? No. Could the Mark of the Beast be the inability to have a true relationship with Jesus, therefore enslaving the sinner to the Anti-Christ? Could the Mark of the Beast be more than Japanese-manufactured plastic and money?

Answer: The Bible states specifically that no one will be able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast (Revelations 13:16-17). This means that the mark of the beast pertains to conducting economic transactions. Also, the word 'mark' means the results of being pierced. We believe that an implanted microchip is the best explanation to date.

We disagree with your statement that 'a portion of the population will be unable to receive the Spirit.' In John 7:37 Jesus said, 'If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.' He said 'anyone.' He did not say that a portion of the population would one day be exempt from this offer. We are not aware of any Scriptures that support your view.
